Hey Mosaic! I'm so excited for week 3 of our series "Stay Positive" this Sunday! I have been hearing some really cool stories about what God has been doing through this series through the first two weeks. If you missed either week, I would love to encourage you to listen to the podcast on our sermon page on our website. Just click HERE. I wanted to share two cool stories that have come out of this series so far: 1. After Pastor Nate preached on GENEROSITY on January 7th, we got this email from Tonya Pfeifer about her 4 year old daughter Allory: The kids made homeless packs today! Every time we drive to our good friends home that is near Minnehaha Falls, Allory's heart is broken driving down Hiawatha trying to understand how people don't have homes. It was weighing heavy on my mind last Sunday during service as we had just visited them on Saturday. When I felt the envelope under my chair I knew no matter what amount, we would help her put her energy toward this! Our plan is take a little trip on Sunday after service to hand out Homeless Packs. We are not taking them to a shelter as she wants to drive and find people to hand them to! 2. And Michelle Chase had this to say after Jeremy Stuber's message on January 14 on GRATEFULNESS: This has been heavy on my heart since since Sunday's message at Mosaic. Looking at life with a "grateful lens" = a more positive, healthy life!!! Although there are many trials and tribulations that come about in everyone's life, there are SO many more blessings that shine like the sun on a stormy day! I am taking the challenge to live a more thankful and grateful life! Looking at life as a blessing, trusting the Lord's journey for me, my husband, our little girl, my husband's business and our family and friends! I challenge everyone to be grateful for one thing a day and see what positive blessing that brings for your heart and soul. This is my challenge for 2018 and I am SO EXCITED! Here's her "grateful lens": I love that people are being inspired to be GENEROUS and GRATEFUL! Choosing to be positive and following the example of Jesus truly is the better way to live!
See you all this Sunday for Week 3 of "Stay Positive"! Pastor Erik Comments are closed.
