 Hey Mosaic! November is here and we've got some really exciting things coming up this month that you will NOT WANT TO MISS! THIS SUNDAY This Sunday we wrap up our journey through the Song of Solomon! We'll be looking at how to BUILD A LOVE THAT LASTS and how to LEAVE A LEGACY for our children and our children's children. And BONUS! We will be handing out brand new Conversation Cards that you can use on your Date Nights! These new ones have bonus content on the back for questions you can ask AFTER your date when the lights go out!! Whoa!!! We'll also be remembering Jesus' finished work on the cross this Sunday by receiving communion together. AND you get an extra hour of sleep because this Sunday our clocks "fall back" an hour. On Sunday, November 12, we will be kicking off a brand new series called "MAKING CHANGE" and we will also be celebrating BAPTISMS! We believe baptism to be the immersion of a follower of Jesus in water as an outward symbol of an internal reality, reflecting the death, burial, resurrection and the finished work of the cross. Jesus was baptized and we want to be like Jesus! At Mosaic, we believe that GROWING PEOPLE CHANGE. Maybe your next step in your spiritual journey is taking the plunge and getting baptized? Sunday Evening, November 12: Student Ministry Event! Hey parents of Middle School and High School kids! Pastor Nate and I are planning a fun Fall Event for all students in 6th-12th grade on Sunday, November 12th! We'll eat pizza, sing a couple worship songs, and play some fun games. We're also going to have a drawing and give away a $50 gift card to the LifeWay Christian Store in Maple Grove to one lucky student! 5:30-8 PM on Sunday, November 12th. Friday, November 17: Men’s Vintage Game Night Hey guys! Do the words Atari...Nintendo...Sega Genesis...and Golden Tee mean anything to you? Join us for a retro gaming night for all Mosaic men! It'll be an 80's themed night with 80's music playing, great food, and a prize for the best 80’s themed outfit! (Think of movies like Top Gun, Karate Kid or TV shows like Miami Vice for clothing inspiration.) Put it on your calendar and invite a friend to come party with us! At Mosaic we believe in CREATING COMMUNITY THROUGH EATING TOGETHER AND PLAYING TOGETHER! This is a great chance to do that! Sunday, November 19: Baby/Child Dedications Child Dedication is the act of standing before your church, your friends, and your family, and dedicating your parenting and your child to God. You don’t need to be a partner (member) at Mosaic to dedicate your child. Lots of exciting stuff this month!!! Our leadership at Mosaic want to help you take your next step in your spiritual journey and help you find community and friendship at Mosaic! So dive in and jump into community this month!
