What is Mosaic?

• We often get many questions here about who we are, ranging from the very general to the very specific. You will find a compilation of some of the most common questions we receive, below. What does the name "Mosaic" stand for? Is it for the Mosaic law?

• When the leadership staff began to address the question of a name for our new church, several ideas were voiced and given discussion; ultimately, we settled upon the name "Mosaic Church". Our team felt that the term "Mosaic" best symbolized one of our most important directives: diversity. We believe that we will find members of every tongue, tribe, and nation in heaven, and that our chuch body should strive to mirror that unity to the best of our ability. Much like a single mosaic painting is comprised of several individually different parts, we believe that our church should be as well.

Who can come to Mosaic Church?

• To put it simply, EVERYONE! Whether it's your first time at church, first time in a long time at church, or your millionth time at church, you're welcome here. We strive to see all members of the Tallahassee community serve Christ. Because of the location of our church building, we are especially privileged to reach out to the University community. If you are a young professional, university student, or a growing family, then Mosaic Church is perfect for you.

How should I come dressed?

• We believe in taking God seriously, but not necessarily in taking ourselves too seriously. Feel free to come dressed casually and comfortably. If you want to come dressed up, no worries; you'll still fit right in.

Does Mosaic Church belong to a specific denomination?
